Detail the major sources of evidence required for a homicide investigation and ultimately a conviction for the crime of homicide. Prepare a paper in which you critically evaluate the significance of all of the following:

§ The use of ballistic evidence § Fingerprint technology
§ DNA testing
§ Crime scene preservation 

§ Evidence chain of custody
§ Crime laboratory procedures
§ Trial testimony presentation for a homicide case 

Writing the Final Research Paper 

The Final Research Paper: 

1. Must be twelve to fifteen double-spaced pages in length (excluding title and reference pages), and formatted

8. Must include a separate reference page, formatted according to APA style as outlined in the APA Checklist in the Ashford Writing Center.
